Successful CarboSeal® installation in Köping – under railway tracksSome weeks ago, we completed a key relining project in Köping, Sweden, together with VÄSTRA MÄLARDALENS ENERGI OCH MILJÖ AB (VME). The installation involved six sections of district heating pipes – four DN 400 and two DN 250, each in 15- and 30-meter lengths – located directly beneath two active railway tracks.

Timeline: Arrived Monday afternoon, completed by Tuesday afternoon
Why CarboSeal®?
The pipes ran beneath railway infrastructure, making traditional replacement via drilling extremely costly and disruptive. Relining offered a faster, more cost-effective, and less intrusive solution – exactly what was needed for this critical section.

90 meters DN400 (2 × 30m + 2 × 15m)
45 meters DN250 (1 × 30m + 1 × 15m)
